Taste of Tuolumne: Indigeny Cider House Rules

Writer's picture: Yosemite ChamberYosemite Chamber

Our first Taste of Tuolumne Adult Craft Beverage Showcase wouldn’t be complete without our favorite local hard cider from Indigeny Reserve. Given Tuolumne County’s attraction as an apple-growing mecca at the turn of the 20th century, it’s safe to say that hard cider has been a popular choice for tipple-seeking travelers and locals alike.

In our neck of the woods, one cider house rules–Indigeny Reserve. One hundred and sixty lush acres of preserve and apple ranch are filled with 11,000 Granny Smith, 7,000 Honey Crisp trees and many other varietals are set in the stunning tranquility of the Sierra foothills. Spend a few hours picnicking on the grounds or exploring the property on their hiking and biking trails. Take a private tour of the distillery and learn about Indigeny’s sustainability and conservation efforts.

Indigeny Reserve will be on hand at the 49er Festival’s Taste of Tuolumne Adult Craft Beverage area, serving up two of their most popular hard apple ciders: Extra Crisp and Blackberry, as well as bringing this year’s special seasonal cider. Be one of the first to quench your thirst with Indigeny’s new fall release.
