Kids Adventure Zone Safe Shooting Games

Writer's picture: Yosemite ChamberYosemite Chamber

Have you signed up your favorite kid(s) for the 49er Festival’s Safe Shooting Games with Olympic Silver Medalist Sagen Maddalena? What 8-14 year old doesn’t want to line up with a nerf gun (water gun, marshmallow gun or for the big ‘uns, a paintball gun) and compete Olympics-style for bragging rights to a gold, silver, or bronze medal?

Hosted by our very own Groveland Highlanders 4H, where Sagen began her shooting career, your child will be up close and coached on gun safety by a world-class marksman and our very own hometown hero. Shooting marshmallows at spinning targets or paintballs into small-diameter buckets may not be on the Olympic stage yet, but there are lessons to be learned from someone who’s been there and knows what it takes to succeed.

Spaces are limited, so don’t wait to register your aspiring athletes for the 49er Festival Safe Shooting Games. $5 per event, per child registration fee; up to two events per child. Follow this LINK to register and pre-pay. Imagine the fun and the photo opportunities!
