Who knew a hometown tour could be so exhausting? Sagen Maddalena hit the ground running last Friday night with a Welcome Home Reception by the Yosemite Chamber and Groveland Rotary at the Groveland Hotel/Aroma Tavern. There, she received the Paul Harris Fellow award…the most coveted Rotary International award. Saturday, it was the Main Street Parade and the Safe Shooting Games at the 49er Festival and on Monday, four school assemblies at Tenaya Elementary, Tioga High, Cassina High (Sonora), and the
Motherlode Juvenile Detention Center. And media interviews. Lots of media interviews.
The Union Democrat caught up with Sagen after her gig at Cassina High School. Read their article HERE.
KCRA Sacramento interviewed Sagen LIVE on Tuesday morning before she headed back to Fort Moore, Georgia to resume her training. Watch her interview HERE.
Local radio journalist BJ Hansen interviewed Sagen on Monday following her four school assemblies. That interview will be broadcast on Mother Lode Views on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 am on AM1450/FM102.7 KVML, Sunday at 9 am on Star 92.7 and Sunday at 10 am on 93.5 KKBN.
