Enter your child in the 2024 Safe Shooting Games, hosted by the Groveland Highlanders 4H and officiated by our 49er Festival Grand Marshal, Olympic Silver Medalist, US Army SSgt. Sagen Maddalena. Sagen began her shooting career here in Groveland with the Groveland Highlanders 4H. We are honored to have our hometown hero and world champion marksman coach our children on respecting firearms and handling them safely in this exciting new addition to the 49er Festival's Kids Adventure Zone!

• Two competition groups: Juniors - ages 8 - 10 / Seniors - ages 11 - 14

• Events: Water guns, Marshmallow guns, NERF guns, Paintball (seniors only)

• $5 per child / per event. Maximum two events per child. Because we are running two events simultaneously in each age group, options for a second event are limited.

• Parents must sign a release form and accompany their child on the day.

• Medal ceremonies will be held for the top four winners in each event/age group.
